7 Day Live Stream Event To Take Place For Late Manchester DJ Alex T

It’s now been over a year since DJ Alex T sadly passed away after contracting bacterial meningitis. The DJ was a familiar face amongst the industry, and he was well known for his talent, kindness and animated spirit.

His brother, Seb Theodossiadis (AKA Bugs Groove), has now planned a week’s worth of streams to honour his legacy.

Seven live streams will take place from Monday 19th April to Sunday 25th April, with one taking place each day. These streams will span across Leeds, Manchester, London, Bristol and Berlin.

Speaking on the planned streams, Seb has said: “The aim is to bring us all together online for a final time primarily to celebrate DJs and collectives who knew and mattered to Alex.”

The streams will be completely free to watch, however the event aims to raising money for Meningitis Now. Seb has asked that participants donate generously, with a target of £5,000 for the week. If you wish to donate, please do so here.

It has also been assured that all live streams will be fully adhering to Government health guidelines and restrictions in light of COVID.

The event is the second streaming fundraiser that Seb has organised for Alex, having previously put together a 4 day stream-a-thon with On Rotation in June 2020, which raised over £11,000 for Meningitis Now.
