A Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul boxing match may be in the works…

Ex Love Island star Tommy Fury has clashed horns with Jake Paul over Twitter, with many believing a fight between the two is on the cards.

The two boxers are both the younger brothers of well-known celebrities, Tyson Fury and Logan Paul respectively.

Their beef began when Tyson Fury made a post praising his little brother for beating BT Sports viewing records, adding at the end “Jake Paul, where you at?”

Jake Paul then responded to his tweet on his Instagram story, where he said that he didn’t even know Tyson Fury had a brother. He went on to claim that Tommy should start his own battles, rather than getting Tyson to do it for him.

Once he got wind of what Jake Paul had said, Tommy uploaded a video to Twitter in response. He claimed he doesn’t need anyone to speak for him, and challenged Jake to fight him “any time, any place, anywhere”.

Despite Tommy challenging Jake in the friendly manner which he did above, Jake Paul responded by doing an unprovoked poor mimic of Tommy, acting quite belittling towards him.

Tommy then replied in the best way possible, showing he’s done being Mr Nice Guy.

Manchester-local Tommy Fury, is currently undefeated with a 5-0 record. 6 foot in height and a light heavyweight, his most recent victory was beating Scott Williams last week, having also won against Jevgenijs Andrejevs, Callum Ide, Przemyslaw Binienda and Genadij Krajevskij.

The 21 year old boxer came second on Love Island 2019, and is still with his partner Molly-Mae Hague. The couple reside in Hale Barnes, Greater Manchester.

Jake Paul has won two boxing matches – one against YouTuber AnEsonGib, and one against basketball player Nate Robinson. 6ft 1 and a cruiserweight, he also won a white-collar boxing match against KSI‘s brother Deji, and is scheduled to fight Ben Askren in April.

Now 24 years of age, Jake initially found fame through Vine, and has since dabbled in YouTube and rap.

Time will tell as to whether the match between the two actually happens. Safe to say it would be great to see Tommy put Manchester on the global boxing map.
