Daft Punk have announced their split, after 28 years in the industry.
The duo broke the news to their fans through a video posted on YouTube titled ‘Epilogue’.

Daft Punk are most recognisable for their signature masks, which have evolved over time with the artists.
The two are recognised as having made some of the best dance music of all time. Having formed in 1993 in Paris, they went on to bring French house music into the mainstream.
They released their debut album ‘Homework’ in 1997, which brought them onto the scene.
Their sophomore album ‘Discovery’ was released in 2001, which spawned hits such as ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’ and ‘One More Time’.
In 2005, they released their third studio album, ‘Human After All’.
The duo’s final studio album ‘Random Access Memories’ paid tribute to 70s and 80s disco, with smash hits such as ‘Get Lucky’ and ‘Lose Yourself To Dance’.
Daft Punk has also released a number of other records and collaborations beside their studio album discography.
