London’s RAY NVVY has dropped his latest track and visuals, ‘Tell Me’.
The track was released last week as the first single from his upcoming project, with the visuals premiering on Friday.
‘Tell Me’ begins with bare instrumentation, building up gradually as it progresses. RAY’s natural-style falsetto and R&B style high range vocals are something we’re arguably missing from the scene right now.
The visuals depict RAY running down a rural road, clearly distressed, carrying a black bag and bleeding from the face. Around 50 seconds in, it’s revealed that the contents of the bag is bands of cash, supposedly stolen.
RAY doesn’t make it too far before the police catch up with him however, and he throws the bag on the floor, seemingly admitting defeat. At the last minute however, we see him reach into his trouser band to pull out a piece, which he quickly turns round and aims at the cop car before the video blacks out.
