TECH TRAINING OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG ADULTS IN MANCHESTER

QA, the UK’s leading tech talent and training organisation, have partnered with UKFast (Manchester-based b2b internet hosting company) to create a fully-funded DevOps Bootcamp.

what?

The collaboration has produced a fully-funded 12 week intensive tech training programme, with the aim of supporting more people into the tech industry in Manchester.

As part of this programme, those involved will receive support, soft skills training and mentoring. They will also be appointed a recruitment support manager upon completion of the programme, to help secure job interviews for local technical roles.

The programme involves an opportunity to take an industry-recognised certification in either AWS, GCP or Microsoft Azure at the end of the programme.

With the skills gained during this bootcamp, by its completion, participants should be ready to work in the industry as a DevOps Engineer, a Platform Engineer, a Build Engineer, a Product Manager, or many other potential tech roles.

who?

The course is open to individuals 21+ years old and residents of Greater Manchester or Lancashire. If unemployed, the individual must have been unemployed for 12 months or less. Applicants must also have a genuine passion for technology, a willingness to learn and the commitment to see the course through the full 12 weeks.

when?

The 12-week programme will begin in January 2021, 5 days a week 9am-5pm, delivered virtually from the comfort of your own home.
