Wizkid to drop Made in Lagos TONIGHT

Nigerian Afrobeats artist Wizkid is set to drop his highly-anticipated album Made in Lagos tonight (29th October 2020) at 11:11pm. The project was initially expected on October 15th, however it was postponed as a result of the ongoing #ENDSARS protests in Nigeria.

Fans have been awaiting this record for nearly four years, given Wizkid first teased the statement “Made in Lagos” in February 2017. The album will be his fourth, following ‘Sounds from the Other Side’ (2016), ‘Ayo’ (2014), and ‘Superstar’ (2011).

Wizkid has also released the tracklist for the album, which reveals a number of features, including Skepta, Burna Boy and Ella Mai. ‘No Stress‘ and ‘Smile‘ (featuring H.E.R.) were released earlier this year.

The reason behind his precise timing is in order to celebrate his son Zion, who was born at that time on 28th October 2017. This fact was made widely known following a series of tweets containing this time stamp from Zion’s mother Jada Pollock, who has also assisted Wizkid in the management of his career.
