Do I need previous presenting experience? Previous experience helps but not essential. We welcome presenters and DJs at all level, basic presenter training will be provided.
I’m not great at using CDJs yet, can I bring my controller? Yes, you can bring your controller, but you’ll need to arrive 10 – 15 minutes before your show to set up and check everything is working.
Do you film every show? No, not every show. Shows with guest DJs, musicians and personalities who are being interviewed or giving a live performance of their songs are filmed if previously agreed with management.
How will people listen to my show? We have our own ‘Pie Radio’ App which is available to all mobile devices including tablets. This is the most convenient way to get your friends to tune in. Alternatively, you can download the ‘TuneIn’ App and search for ‘Pie Radio’.
What about Facebook Live? As well as the App, we stream most of our shows on Facebook Live, however Facebook’s recent policy on copyright means the streams will get taken down. So, encourage your listeners to tune in via the Pie Radio App.
What will happen to my show recordings? You have the option of uploading it to our Mixcloud or we can email you a copy to upload to your own Mixcloud / Soundcloud.
