After an exciting return to the scene earlier this year, with the release of “Only If You Knew” – a track that celebrates his recent freedom, following a two year stint in prison.
Since, the track has garnered an astounding 5.8 million views on GRM Daily.
East London’s Dutchavelli has proven that he is a forcible figure within the game, showing that he is ready to shed his past to focus on his artistry.
On Friday, the rapper struck back with yet another impressive installation, entitled: “Surely”, which saw Dutch sport his usual rugged cadence, whilst delivering some hard hitting bars.
The East Londoner called on MK The Plug and SapphireBeatz for production, together they formulated a serious drill backdrop for Dutch to attack.
Throughout, the rapper exhibits an innate ability to articulate and deliver compelling street narratives in an explicit yet witty manner:
“Circle the ends like the Royal Mail, then it’s back in the lab like dexter.”
“Tell my ex delete my number, I got a ting, you can’t call me. I got Keisha, I got Becky, I got Henny, that’s an orgy.”
The single has gained some serious traction, accumulating almost 700,000 views in just two days.
