‘Self Love’ poet and alternative hiphop artist Dámì Sule is back with new music! Following the success of his debut EP ‘Crayons’ released in September. Self Love, Jen’wi Temi and Crayons gained radio support from BBC Radio Introducing (Leeds), Pie Radio, and Legacy FM, including online support from GUAP Magazine, Lost Culture, The PitLdn, Channel Alt, and iLuvLive.
Building on this momentum Dámì returns with ‘Wounded’. A simple and concise song, filled with substance layered on a mellow beat.
“Paint my shackles with gold, tell me I’m worth more than my brothers were sold”
The new single branches out into topics such as love, trust, jealousy, and racism, topics that each individual can relate to, including the current slave trade of Black Africans in Libya. ‘Wounded‘ is now available to purchase and stream on all music platforms.
