SL has re-emerged, quenching our thirst for his highly anticipated first track of the year; In ‘Hit The Block’ featuring Pa Salieu.

Along with fire new visuals courtesy of Meeks and Frost.

Hailing from South London, SL formerly known as Slimz; Has been making waves as one of the UK’s youngest rappers to infiltrate the game.

Releasing his debut single ‘Gentleman’ in 2017 – at the mere age of 15.

The masked MC teamed up with Coventry native Pa Salieu; Who has secured himself a very promising career with the release of hit single, entitled ‘Frontline’.

The collaboration sees the collision of London and Coventry – uniting the rapper’s road chronicles to provide us with this undisputable street anthem.

The pair bodied the greazy, bass driven backdrop produced by Kwes Drako – who is best known for creating gripping instrumental’s for UK artist Slow Thai.

The 18-year-old perpetuates his usual confident and conversational flow; Pruning the grungy musical landscape with his ‘Tropical drill’ and mischievous word play.

“Knew a pretty little bird, real feather-weight (Yeah)
‘Til she done the whole gang, now she a heavy-weight.”

Whilst Salieu offers hard hitting bars combined with a peppering of his Gambian heritage – the rapper speaks of his resilience in lyrics; ”Frontliner, shot me in the head and I’m still breathin’.”

In the video directed by Meeks and Frost; SL steers away from usual luxurious settings and finds himself and Pa roaming the depths of the monochromatic inner city of London – on mission with the mandem.
