Although we’re unsure wether this verse was ever aimed at Stormzy as he also raps about lacking “platinum, silver or gold, you ain’t even been bronze”, which Stormzy has achieved.
Chip asked ‘why am i trending on twitter?’ following the speculations on social media. Tion added ‘You lot are bored’. Stormzy has not yet commented, the rapper had deleted his social media a while back so we doubt we will hear his side. Although, lets see wether Chip responds then we might get our answer.
