Joey XL marries a charming hybrid of alternative R&B and Pop on newest instalment titled: “Made Time” with an exciting production from Loner, Ambezza and Ryan Andre.
The artist lets us in, on his passionate battle between grief and heartache. The track communicates the imbalance of a budding romance that leaves Joey questioning why his lover won’t “make time” for him. Cataloguing and unpacking, his woes alongside the difficulties he faces whilst expressing himself: “I find it hard to say what is running through my brain, tried to change my mind but it’s driving me insane.”
He harkens nothing but raw emotion while crooning over his internal despair on this single; Capturing a moment that has occurred in many of our lifetimes.
Joey’s innate ability to convey pure vulnerability and honesty as a lyricist, combined with his golden ear for beats and melodies is proof that he’s most definitely going to excel this year!
