Popcaan has released the visuals for his latest inspirational release ‘Survivor’, a track that is said to feature on Terror Family Production’s new EP Solid Focus Riddim.
Popcaan has an incredible work rate – after teaming up with OVO sound last year to release his fourth studio album Fixtape which saw features from fellow artists such as PARTYNEXTDOOR, Drake, Stylo G, Masicka and many more, the prolific Dancehall legend has not stopped.
St. Thomas’ Popcaan has been a leader of the Dancehall genre for a very, very long time, his latest track ‘Survivor’ recounts all of the obstacles he has been through to get where he is today. The vibrant, laidback track is produced by Stamma from Terror Family Productions.
As the beginning of the visuals start, Popcaan can be seen standing in a lavish house overlooking scenic views of JA. He sings ‘roughest and the toughest times we been through this’.
‘Man a survivor’ sings Popcaan, whilst he is surrounded with his friends who he tells listeners he wouldn’t ‘switch’ on showing he is loyal to his Day 1s.
The visuals connote the lavish lifestyle of the 32 year-old Dancehall star – flash cars, iced out jewellery, clubs, golf courses and pretty women.
