Europe’s largest Pride celebration for LGBTQ+ people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American and Middle Eastern-descent will return this summer.
Following their 15th birthday celebrations last year, UK Black Pride will be extended across three days this summer over the weekend of 2-4 July 2021 at an as-yet-unannounced venue in East London.
The theme has been announced by organisers as ‘Love and Rage’, to acknowledge the difficult 12 months for so many within ethnic minority communities.

In a blog post on the UK Black Pride website, executive director and co-founder, Phyll Opoku-Gyimah confirmed that the event will run from Friday 2 July to Sunday 4 July.
“To honour what has been a tremendously difficult year for so many in our communities, UK Black Pride’s 2021 theme is ‘Love and Rage’,” she wrote.
