Silencer x Dizzee Rascal’s new single ‘Grime Ain’t Dead’ is out now!

Expert Grime producer Silencer has linked up with grime god Dizzee Rascal for the first single ‘Grime Ain’t Dead’ from his forthcoming EP in May, made up of back to back bangers.

A strong duo that’s hard to rival in the studio or on stage, Silencer delivers punchy synths with distorted violins on production, while Dizzee spits bars defending the health of the genre, telling critics and crowds ‘Grime ain’t dead, I’m still breathing’.

For the track’s music video, Dizzee returned to his hometown, representing his ends visually and also lyrically at the start of the track stating ‘I’m from Bow E3 not Chiswick / Miss me with the hype and the gimmick’.

Dizzee released his debut album ‘Boy in da Corner’ (2003) when he was only eighteen, pushing himself forward in the music industry. His fourth album ‘Tongue N’ Cheek’ (2009) gained four number one hits in the UK with ‘Dance wiv Me’, ‘Bonkers’, ‘Holiday’ and ‘Dirtee Disco’, securing Dizzee’s position as one of Britain’s most successful rappers. His seventh and latest album, ‘E3 AF’ (2020), also pays homage to his East London postcode.
