OOOOOOOOOOOHHH DID SOMEBODY SAY JUST EAT?
Whilst we wait for Our Kid Rishi to inevitably bring back another Eat Out to Help Out scheme, we can also do our bit to help. We can eat in and rescue the restaurant businesses who need to make a living. So put down your rying pans, delete your google searches for Jamie Oliver recipes, and help your locals out for some decent grub. N.B. There are two places on this list that offer pizza because you can never have enough IMO.
I will include places where you can pick up from their doorstep, clicking on food delivery apps like JustEat, or both. Cue the Snoop Dogg jingle.
1. Delhi Dream
To quote my mate who recommended this Indian Restaurant to me, “it’s the best Indian food outside of India”. He isn’t the sort of person who gives praise unless he means it. Check their menu and opening hours out here.

2. Bun and Bones Club
This place does some of the best burgers I have ever had. Their wings are gorgeous and their fries are lovely too. If like me, you have allergies, they will be able to accommodate you too. Check their menu and opening hours out here.

3. The Mayflower
If you want a decent filling Chinese, then this place is the bomb. It comes recommended by several friends who say it’s the most authentic and tasty of Chinese food they can get. Check their menu and opening hours out here

5. JAS JAS JAS
If you fancy something different, then why not try this delicious Middle Eastern deli, specialising in Lebanese food. They offer meals to takeaway. Check their menu and opening hours out here.

6. Mama Flo’s
One of the hidden gems of takeaway food, Mama Flo offers divine Caribbean food if you fancy something a bit spicy (to quote my hero Ainsley Harriott: YEAH BWOI). Check their menu and opening hours out here.

7. Benvenuti
If you want proper Italian food, cooked by proper Italians, then this lovely restaurant is offering takeaway pasta dishes as well as pizzas too. Check their menu and opening hours out here.

8. Pix Pizza
This place makes some of the most delicious Wood-Fired Pizza outside of Naples. I mean, until I can go back on a holiday to Italy, this place will suffice for now. Check their menu and opening hours out here.

9. The Little Fish and Chip Shop
If you want a standard, classic, British takeaway. Then this local chippy is well worth the visit, they even offer Gluten Free options for those with intolerances and allergies. Check their menu and opening hours out here.

This was one of the hardest lists I have ever written. I have gained an extra stone in quarantine podge just writing down this list, but I know the weight I gain can be exercised off if it means rescuing a restaurant business from closure. There are so many more I could suggest, but we want to hear from you.
