Video released on Instagram with caption ‘Lil Peep popped 6 Xanax just hours before overdosing’
The news was first released on Instagram by Lil Peep’s manager Mikey Cortez, who posted four photos of the rapper and wrote, “I’m completely heart broken and lost right now. I can’t even feel it’s not real. I love you and I’ll miss you always.“
Just two months ago Lil Peep released his debut album Come Over When You’re Sober (Part One) with Pitchfork citing him as ‘the future of emo.’ The rapper had been due to perform a gig in California on November 16.
