A Foot In To Radio is a unique hand on pathway for young people ages 16 – 25-year olds to start their career in the Radio and Media industry. The project will provide an insight into the various possible career paths in the industry whilst improving participants technical, social, and interpersonal skills.
Each session will focus on improving your confidence and self-esteem, literacy and digital confidence, and presentation skills through real-life practical experiences and opportunities that will bring you closer to the job market or further training and volunteering. At the end of the course, you will have the option of hosting your own radio show at Pie Radio or launching your own podcast. The project starts Monday 13th July and will run for 16 weeks from 12 – 4 pm.
