Fire In The Booth’s The Dubai Series returned to YouTube again last night with its third episode, featuring German born rapper Kelvyn Colt.
Kelvyn Colt signed with Sony Music Germany back in 2016. He later featured on A COLORS SHOW with his song ‘Bury Me Alive’, his biggest hit to date. The YouTube video has received an incredible amount of views, almost hitting the 9 million mark.
Kelvyn then created his own record label after he bought himself out of his previous label with the release of his second EP Mind of Colt, Pt 1. This earned him recognition from Forbes, and they subsequently added him to the 30 Most Influential European Artists in 2020.
In the third episode of The Dubai Series, Kelvyn Colt showcases his versatile flow by switching it up from rapping to singing. Towards the end of the video he raps in German, something us here in the UK don’t hear very often. His wordplay is well thought out and many listeners may find his lyrics very relatable.
As well as the release of his Fire In The Booth, Kelvyn is also featured on Charlie Sloths new track Get It, which also includes UK artist Abra Cadbra and America’s Gunna, a link up we didn’t know we needed.
