Manchester Rapper Meduulla has dropped her first original single, Levelled Up.

Zimbabwean-born and Manchester raised rapper, 21 year old Meduulla is a true wordsmith. At 13 she started writing poetry, which developed into her musical talents.

If you don’t know Meduulla – get to know. Her first freestyle Eskimo Riddim achieved recognition from the likes of Wiley. In 2018 she collaborated with Nia Archives to create ‘Worldly Eyez‘. In 2019, we were blessed with a remix of Aitch’s ‘Taste where she spits in English AND French.

Early in 2021, Meduulla dropped original single Levelled Up‘ produced by SAIONTHEBEAT. She drops thought-provoking, soulful lyrics like ‘can’t plant my seed where it won’t grow‘. Her bars are a clear influence of her poetic background.

The vibrant yet mystic artwork for ‘Levelled Up’ matches the track perfectly.

In the music video, directed by Aziz Nabi, you can see Meduulla in forests and fields with leaves in her hair, giving us a beautiful nature vibe. This, mixed with her flow and the contemporary hip hop beat, is a combination that puts her on whole new level.

She says some of her inspirations are the likes of Erykah Badu, Little Simz, Noname, Jhus, Frank Ocean, Dave, Chance the Rapper and IAMDDB. We definitely hear that in her music!
