Tayo Sound has released his new single ‘Two Left Feet’ on Black Butter Records, featuring guest vocals from songwriter and producer Oscar Scheller.

Tayo was born and raised in Reading and the nineteen-year-old Nigerian-Scottish musician is now poised for wider success, as predicted by Billboard who described the young artist as possessing a ‘silky voice and exceedingly mature songwriting skills.’
‘Two Left Feet’ is the rising artist’s first new music of the year, following from his ‘Runaway’ EP last year.

Tayo and Oscar have collaborated previously and their musical styles complement each other well, achieving an upbeat guitar focused sound contrasted to lyrics of loss.
Scheller has also worked with Rina Sawayama, Charli XCX and PinkPantheress, placing him firmly in touch with the current alt-pop sound and bringing out a fresh angle to Tayo’s indie sound.
Tayo summarised the song’s meaning as being “about physical belongings from past relationships and how they can be the hardest but most satisfying to get rid of.”
Oscar added “Tayo and I have been working together for a while now and Two Left Feet was always one of my favourite things we made! I was so happy when he asked me to be on it.”
Last week (3rd March), Tayo performed at Night and Day in Manchester as part of a BBC Introducing Live event, joined by Abby Roberts, Brooke Combe and Freak Slug.
