Premiered on GRM Daily, D Double E and Skepta link up to bring us some heat on their fire new track ‘Don’. The track brings us some iconic flavours opening with one of D Double E’s most notable tags “Oh my godddd”. As soon as you hear this you know it’s gonna be a banger.
A chilling beat opens the tune, the visuals accompanying the track set out the story of a heist. Skepta raps with smooth and effortless flow. In the video he drives the car in a police chase with D Double E in the passenger seat, and two girls in the back. The camera cuts between three scenes: the police chase, the motorbikes and the interior of a house where all four are enjoying a bottle of henny.
D Double E spits with intricacy; his distinctive tone and slick bars ripple over the beat. Skepta and D Double E’s vocals compliment each other making this one of the most exciting collaborations of 2020.
