Lucky Daye and Tiana Major9 have teamed up to create their smooth single ‘On Read‘.
The RnB track tells the story of being ignored and the frustration that comes with that, a feeling many of us can relate to.
East London’s Tiana Major9 connected with New Orleans’ Lucky Daye to create this soulful track which was released last night.
For those who are unfamiliar with Tiana Major9, the singer came to fame after her collaboration with EarthGang on the single ‘Collide‘.
On Read has come as a delight to both of the artists’ audiences, as they act as two lovebirds lacking communication in the world of text messaging, leaving each other “on read”.
Lucky struggles to provide commitment in his life and tries to seek the attention of his love interest, but Tiana uses her verse to explain her reasons for not engaging with an undeserving man. She sings: “Its your lucky day if I answer“.
On Read is the first single from Lucky’s upcoming EP, Table for Two, which fans can expect on February 12.
