It’s the festive season and while you’re on a break, your favourite African music stars churned out new music that deserves a spot on your holiday playlist. We bring you the latest new songs to get you going this festive season! 

GOODSIN (REMIX) – Olivetheboy, King Promise, Oxlade, Reekado Banks

Ghanaian breakout star, Olivetheboy releases the remix to his viral hit GoodSin and to elevate the track further, he teams up with three incredible superstars, Oxlade, King Promise and Reekado Banks. The trio bring their unique flair to deliver enchanting verses that are in perfect sync. 

DO I (REMIX) – Phyno ft. Burnaboy 

Phyno takes the already infectious track to a whole new level with the introduction of Burnaboy’s fiery energy. Burnaboy’s raspy vocals and fiery energy elevate this remix as it perfectly blends with Phyno’s signature laid-back flow and lyricism.

SOUNDMAN VOL.2 (EP) – Wizkid

2023 has been a quiet year for Wizkid and it was a surprise when he announced the release of SoundMan Vol. 2. The EP is a follow-up to “SoundMan Vol. 1” which was released in December 2019. “S2” features collaborations with Zlatan and Wande Coal, who add diverse flavours to the project, with expert production from P.Priime on the majority of the EP.

MARRY – Khaid ft. Shallipopi 

Nigerian singer, Khaid teams up with rave-of-the-moment, Shallipopi to deliver a sizzling new track. Khaid’s vocals are clear as ever and Shallipopi delivers a scorching hot verse. 


In what could pass off as a meeting of Nigerian music OGs, ID Cabasa teams up with Vector and 9ice on Photocopy Reimagined. This track is a blend of Afrobeats and Hip-Hop sounds, with Vector, and 9ice delivering verses that reflect their status as veterans in the game. 


It’s the holiday season and what better way to get into the spirit than music? Teni’s brand new EP, “Christmas is Here,” is an amazing three-track offering that brings warmth and cheer to this festive season. With a blend of Teni’s soulful vocals and scintillating melodies, this EP captures the magic of the season and is bound to get listeners on their feet. 

GOING – Kcee x Kiki Derika 

On the back of a successful year, Kcee looks to close out strongly with the release of “Going.” The Ojapiano crooner teams up with the talented Kiki Derika who adds an extra layer of vocal dexterity that blends with the infectious beats which makes the song a delight. 


Nigerian record producer Juls continues to impress with the release of “High Life Sessions.” This is a three-track instrumental EP, that showcases his mastery in crafting Afrobeat sounds through live instrumentation. This EP offers an immersive listening experience with rich melodies and infectious beats. 


Peruzzi joins forces with Odumodublvck to deliver a record infused with Highlife sounds, boisterous energy and soulful melodies. On this track, the duo bare their minds on the harsh realities of life on the streets, the pain and sacrifice before success and heartbreak.
